Lee Lucas Sometimes quality comes in smaller sizes and even though many of the tracks along the album are very short they can still present with you more twists and turns than a cheap garden hose, a handlebar moustache, twisted candy, classic thriller and aunty Mabel's knickers rung out with her bare hands rather than a mangle. Sven B. Schreiber (sbs) It was a torture to live more than two years without new Foodstool stuff... but hey, we survived - some of us by buying all of the older catalog items, spinning around good old Foodstool. The reward for waiting so long is another fun-packed album with plenty of odd gems, created by the ever reliable Foodstool keepers Matt Deacon and Chris Jago. Favorite track: Section 8.

Vanquisher is the seventh release from The Bob Lazar Story, a Trans-Pacific Partnership with roots in Liverpool.

Following on from 2017's critically acclaimed Baritonia, Matt Deacon and Chris Jago once again join forces and bring along a couple of guest musicians to create another collection of songs to make your brain dance.

This eagerly anticipated album contains some of the most densely packed arrangements so far, yet is contrasted with some sparser acoustic moments, creating a balance that could never be described as "too orangey".

This time with even more Foodstool.
